Tech enthusiasts and professionals have a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) through a series of informative sessions led by industry experts. Both in-person and remote sessions will equip fellows to engage and confront urgent issues head-on. We’ll discuss data privacy, policy hurdles, and monetization approaches in today’s rapidly evolving technology environment.

Yann Stoneman, a leading practitioner in the deployment of AI, will steer one such session. He’ll be working to deploy AI that is secure, private and responsible in industries such as healthcare and financial services without using any cloud infrastructure. He will share insights on managing data privacy while developing AI systems, which is increasingly critical as organizations handle sensitive information.

This session will feature use cases, hands on demonstrations and other practical examples giving attendees real-world knowledge that they can apply to their own projects. Stoneman’s virtual session features lively interactive Q&A that is not to be missed. Participants will have the ability to interact with him directly and get questions resolved regarding AI deployment and data handling.

The event takes place at a pivotal moment when diversity in the tech industry is still a major issue. We know the current statistics — women only occupy 27% of tech roles. Even more shocking, Black women hold less than 2% of these roles. Tackling these disparities is necessary for creating a more equitable future where everyone can participate in inclusive innovation of technology.

In addition to Stoneman’s session, Hua Wang, the Executive Director of the Global Innovation Forum, will present "The AI Policy Playbook: What Startups Need to Know." During this session, we’ll unpack just how AI is changing the startup landscape. We’ll shine a light on their own struggles with government, regulation, policy compliance and going global. Wang will explore AI-driven tools designed for digital trade and compliance, equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge needed to navigate these complex landscapes.

Further enriching the agenda is Mahesh Chayel, the Product Management Lead at Meta, who will guide participants through "The Guide to Monetizing GenAI in Enterprise Applications." Chayel’s session will set out to reveal new and exciting approaches to generating revenue with generative AI inside enterprise applications. He will discuss strategies such as API licensing and premium feature offerings, helping attendees understand how to leverage generative AI for business growth.

Together, these sessions paint a broad picture of the technical and regulatory landscape of AI, making the case for the importance of understanding both arenas. Artificial intelligence is changing the world — and fast. Configured for Sustainability Professionals must be oriented with the right tools and knowledge so they can innovate responsibly.
