Young Minds App Set to Showcase Online Safety Features at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025

The Young Minds app, designed to protect and educate children online, will be presented at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, which takes place from October 27 to 29 in San Francisco. Nino Dvalidze, an entrepreneur and young mom from the United Kingdom, is the founder of Young Minds. The nonprofit aims to ensure the internet is a safer place for kids.

Available on Android, this app helps parents keep track of how their children are using their devices. An iOS version will be released next week. As Dvalidze mentions, Apple’s data access restrictions between apps will lead to differences in the iOS version compared to the Android one. She wants users to know that there are “smart workarounds” at play to tackle these hurdles.

Young Minds uses the latest artificial intelligence to tunnel through kids’ tablet and phone activity, sniffing out and identifying risky content. Most importantly, the app is designed to keep all user data completely private.

The app consists of two versions: a parent app and a children’s app. This framework allows parents and caretakers to impose clear expectations and routines for developing young minds.
