This year’s competition really drove home the inventive spirit that the Startup Battlefield represents. Startups showcased innovative approaches including AI-driven infrastructure inspection to support sustainable, multimodal transportation. The depth of the competition really highlighted the quality of professionals included in the cohort.

Glīd set itself apart with its innovative approach to the complicated world of logistics and people moving. The company’s hardware and software offerings have become an impressive suite of compelling, powerful products. Taken together, these inventions accelerate the relocation of shipping containers to inland railheads and substantially reduce their costs. GliderM is their flagship product, a hybrid-electric cargo vehicle designed for efficiency and sustainability. It can directly pick up and transport 20-foot containers itself, which spares expensive forklifts or hostler trucks.
