Snabbit, an Indian-on-demand home services startup has raised $56 million of financing. With this latest infusion, the company’s funding takes the new investment to roughly $112 million overall. This latest investment underscores the growing need for home services in a rapidly urbanizing India. It further demonstrates that investors are confident in Snabbit’s business model.
Founded in 2024, Snabbit has quickly built a reputation of being the youngest startup company to break out into the giant home services industry. Today it runs over 40,000 jobs a day. The company’s breathtaking growth curve has blasted its valuation to the stratospheric level of $400 million. This is a dramatic jump from around $180 million just six months ago.
Snabbit works in five metropolitan cities and offers a variety of commercial services, including cleaning, dishwashing and laundry. Snabbit has a powerful worker network with more than 15,000 workers. This makes them uniquely suited to serve the increasing demand for reliable, last-mile home service in suburban and urban contexts. The startup’s lean and efficient business model has allowed them to reduce customer-acquisition costs by about 65%. Meanwhile, losses on each order have decreased by almost half.
The new funding round is the latest demonstration of the increased investor appetite for on-demand services, as reported first by TechCrunch three weeks ago. The future of urban living is changing at a blistering pace. Snabbit has ambitious plans to improve its service variety and expand its footprint in India’s crowded cities.
